Receiving the bizSAFE Star Award and the bizSAFE Partner Certification strongly demonstrated our commitment to Safety, Health and Environment.

With a safer workplace, accidents are prevented, workers’ productivity increases and at the end of the day, there is more business for the company. MNCs in the Oil & Petrochemical and Marine Industries place extremely high emphasis on Safety. We always strive for continuous improvement in Safety, Health and Environment. Apart from training our own employees on Safety, Health and Environment, we have also started training our subcontractors and are encouraging them to raise their Safety, Health and Environment standards.
We conduct a wide range of in-house Safety, Health and Environment trainings, and are also an Accredited Training Provider approved by the Ministry of Manpower for conducting OPSOC and SOC manhole for workers.
As part of our top management pledge towards Safety, Health and Environment, on site safety audits for all its projects are conducted on a regular basis. With formal safety accreditation and training, as well as management’s commitment to eliminate and mitigate safety, health and environmental hazards and impacts, our Clients can have a piece of mind with HSL working on their projects.

Workplace Health Promotion (WHP) programme

At HSL Constructor, we recognize the positive influence our organization can have on our employee’s health. We continuously work to ensure our organizational policies are conducive to good health, and to provide health promotion programmes and services at work.
Through a combination of organizational, environmental interventions, lifestyle and personal health skills, the WHP programme enhances the quality of our employee’s health, HSL Constructor adopt a holistic and integrated approach to Workplace Health Promotion (WHP) programme in our company.

Free Health Screening for all staff:

We engage professional health care providers to offer a free basic health screening for all staff on an annual basis. The health screening package comprises of blood glucose test, blood cholesterol test, blood pressure measurement, BMI and waist measurement. This is to empower our employees with knowledge of their current health and provides them with guidelines to maintain good health.

Aerobics Keep-Fit Class:

We engage a professional coach for Keep-Fit Aerobics Class which is held once a month in our office premises. The exhilarating class energizes our employees and encourages them to lead a healthier lifestyle through physical activity.
